(terap nasi; artocarpus elasticus)

One of the most common wild species and also one of the tallest species of the artocarpus family, reaching up to 50 metres in height. Its fruit are considerably long, about 20cm, and notable for its creamy yellow to brownish skin and its strong rancid smell. The bark of the terap nasi can be stripped apart into big sheets for use.
