Glass Beads
Early trade links between early Temasek and Tang China. Circa 13th to 14th century, China.
These glass beads were uncovered at Fort Canning in 1984, and are traced back to the Yuan dynasty of the 13th to 14th centuries. It is thought that these glass fragments were created by spillage when glass was melted down to make other items, suggesting some glass-working activity in Temasek.
