Between Two Homes demonstrates through the redevelopment of Dakota Crescent as a case study, how the community can come together to preserve memories of the place and render assistance to those affected by the relocation.

The process of doing so will be showcased to the public. It is hoped that through this showcase, the public will become aware of the importance of ground-up community participation in preserving community and heritage in Singapore and exemplify the Singapore Spirit of taking initiative and responsibility for building the home Singaporeans want through active citizenry. Workshops will also be conducted with 150 Secondary School students to reinforce these messages.
