Supported by the SG50 Celebration Fund, “A Nation of Skilled Talents” features a book by Loh Yuin Han Jonathan and Chadi EL Farran, which documents the evolution of applied and technical education in Singapore.

The SG50 book highlights the crucial role that applied and skill-based education plays in the Singapore success story, which was bring to life through the stories of 50 graduates of the Polytechnics and ITEs. These 50 specialists and practitioners of particular crafts continue to deepen their skill sets through continued education and on-the-job training. Each learning journey is inspiring. The book will be launch by Acting Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills), Mr Ong Ye Kung at The Future of Us exhibition in December 2015.
